A part-time position for an Art Teacher in the middle school is anticipated for the 2024-2025 school year. Art Teacher - FTE 0.6 and Resident Substitute Teacher - FTE 0.4. Interested candidates should apply online only - no phone calls, faxes or emails.
FACS Teacher - Full time probationary
Plainedge Middle School
CTE certification is required. Certification must be inclusive of grades 6 thru 8. Certification can be in any of the CTE specialization areas. Agriculture is a plus but all CTE specialty areas are acceptable.
Will teach multiple classes in our fully functional state of the art greenhouse. Will be responsible for the management, on-going upkeep and proposed enhancements of the greenhouse facility. Candidate will also revise, update and enhance curriculum on-going. Candidate should be a self-starter and bring a wealth of ideas.
NYS Secondary Earth Science certification required.
Special Education Certification is preferred but not required.
Candidate must have a NYS Certification for ELA 7-12. Literacy and Special Education is preferred but not required.
