The Plainedge UFSD is seeking a talented Health and Physical Education teacher who will be a part of our staff.
The successful candidate will :
Have knowledge of and experience with NYSED Physical Education Standards
Implement engaging lessons that create a positive learning environment for K-12 students
Work collaboratively with colleagues to create interdisciplinary physical education units of study
Promote a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged
Differentiate instruction for students with varying learning needs and abilities
Support SEL goals and promote character development through active instruction
Have particular knowledge of strength and conditioning
